A nation? No, the power of a nation. The soldiers who risk their lives every day in battle. The people who suffer. Broken families, orphaned children, houses in debris. All of these things are those that happen in a war. Did you believe that could have a world without war? A world where suffering doesn't exist. Violence or war. A world where the human can coexist in peace?
In this photo we can see four soldiers. Of these soldiers, one is taking the arms of a suspected member of the Vietcong, and he prepares to cut them, while the other soldier is about to give him a kick on Oct. 21, 1965. The remaining two soldiers are watching their peers mistreating a man until death. The soldier who is about to give the kick is carrying in his right hand an assault rifle. Also he carries in his chest a hand-grenade for war, as well he has a plastic bag hanging on his shoulder, but I don’t see what it contains. Perhaps we have not realized that, there is a corpse on the lower right who, could be dead by the soldiers.
When I see this photo I think, how a person can do that to another? As humans, we can make so much damage among us, to the point of death or torture? I don’t understand this, but I know that the war changes the people.
