The Power of One

One flower can wake up the dream. One tree can start a forest. One smile begins a friendship. One vote can change a nation, but...  Can one person change the world? Can this act change the mind of millions? Some people have shown us that with enough of will and dedication it is possible to change everything.

Ynet Nili, the girl in the foreground who is trying to keep out the antiriot, must be protecting his beloved ones and her rights, or maybe she lost many beloved ones and for this reason she is fighting against the antiriots. It must have been exploded a bomb because in the background there is smoke. In the foreground we can see more civilians observing what is doing Ynet against all the riotpolice. Ynet must be thinking that she is going to die against antiriots. In the background we can see how the Amona habitants throw the towel and leave Ynet without help. She must be thinking on that days right now. The anitriots must have hurt Ynet and when she saw her wounds she must be remembering that days.

Yes, one person can change the world. But it is to difficult, Ynet need more help to change it. I know that everyday much people try to change the world, but the world does not realize. I think that to change the world, first, we need to change the mind of all the people who are greedy of power and money, and this isn't easy.

The photo was taken by Oded Balilty on 2007 in Amona, during the evacuation of some illegal outposts. The photo shows us an Amona habitant, Ynet Nili, standing alone against dozens ant disturbs.
